The Verbal Deception Coat of Arms

The coat of arms for Verbal Deception helps favour the fortune for those at sea, and bears a warning to those who sail in their wake. At the centre is the shield, divided by three symbols of the pirate life: the crown, for these are the kings of pirates, reigning the ocean waters from coast to coast; the bandoneón, the trademark instrument which brings malignant men and treacherous wenches to dance under the moonlight; and the hourglass, which reminds mere mortals that one day their time will run out. These symbols lay on the tri-colours of black, white and red, signifying that in the never-ending war of good and evil, blood will be shed. To the left and right of the shield are the guardians of the crest. The ebony crow keeps his blood red eye on the strategy of battle, ready to have his war cry heard. He preys upon the enemy from the sky. In his talons he clutches the riches of pirate plunder: golden pieces of eight, pearls from the sea and jewels of the dead. The sea serpent watches, coiled around the base of the crest, his clasp intent on annihilating the enemy. He bears the wounds of battles past and taunts those in the future. Entwined through the crest are the ropes from masts of swashbuckling ships. The hands that tie the ropes and sails are also the takers of life. Latched behind the crest are the swords of the captain and first mate, who would not hesitate a moment to cross your back and run you through with their steel blades. The skull of death hangs his head above the shield. With his devilish grin and one wicked eye, he tempts the pure to taste a life of blood, money and women.
